Blame Music Video

This has been done for over a year now but only now have I thought to post it. The music video for "Blame" by temposhark, which I assisted Motomichi Nakamura in animating. It's been playing in a number of festivals and I believe took first place in SXSW's music video category.

Well, this was intended as a little valentine's greeting to my friends. But, I started it the day after, and then got distracted by all sorts of other things and didn't wind up wrapping it up until yesterday, though the animation has been done now for over a month. All of this is drawn on one layer, so yes, I drew those people a bajillion times. I like the effect. And my man Nick really hooked me up with some original tunes. Big props there. Hope you enjoy.

This is a PSA for UNESCO that I made with my friends Aaron Brewer and Ian Jones-Quartey, during my junior year at The School of Visual Arts. It's one of the works I'm most pleased with that I made while in school. Collaborating with other people is fantastic.

The Rule of Three

Hmmmm. So I drew this. It's not at all what I first thought I was going to draw. Composition is similar, the content is not. And there's a third character. I'd say I have a thing for the number three. I had some other ideas I was thinking of drawing, but somehow, the fact that I had to think about them more than this one led to me not drawing them. Perhaps another day.

Choss Transit and a Drawing

Today's transit drawings were few and chossy. In particular, that right page. Heh heh. But I did do these little guys with this holy man. Not sure if they're angels, demons, muses, bugging him or helping out. I am convinced though, that if you look at this drawing upside down, all the characters look like indeterminate mush. Hoo hoo.

Transit drawings from yesterday. Today's were few and chossy. However, there was a bout of fiendish doodling on the walls of the dentist. Will post pics next tuesday. Eric, Greg and I went to town, was pretty entertaining. I'm rather fond of the one fellow with the glasses in the upper right. Oh and one of these people I just made up. heh.
